Join us on the shores of one of Southern Ontario's classic rivers for some thrilling smallmouth bass or steelhead fishing!

Our signature trips: 

• Steelhead, Brown Trout and Lake Trout(Dec 1) on the Niagara River from October to June.  
• Smallmouth Bass trips run from September to October.

Other opportunities exist for Fall Chinook & Coho Salmon, Brown Trout and Steelhead from Lake Huron, Lake Ontario and Georgian Bay rivers.   

Shore and Wade Rates

1/2 day(4-6hrs):

• $150 per each - $250 per two - $300 per three

full day(6-8hrs):

• $200 per each - $300 per two - $375 per three

Our kayak fishing adventures consist of rivers, smaller inland lakes and the Great Lakes.  Kayaks open up fishing to much more diverse opportunities due to their ability to access more water than most boats. 

Our signature trips:   

• Migratory Salmon-Steelhead-Brown Trout, yak and wade fall river fishing.  October to end of December on Southern Ontario. 
• Migratory Steelhead, Brown Trout, Lake Trout and resident trout, yak and wade spring river fishing.  April/May on Southern Ontario rivers. 
• Smallmouth Bass on Southern Ontario rivers from July to November.

Kayak Fishing Rates

1/2 day(4hrs):

• $150 per each - $250 per two - $300 per three

In 2010 Nomad Adventures expanded its guided kayak fishing trips and tours to include more Grand River destinations.  Areas added now include sections of the Grand from Conestoga to Brantford. 

These trips include fishing from the kayaks and yak-n-wade.  In addition to these trips, we will now add flyfishing to our schedule.  Please see below for more details;

Steelhead Fishing: April/May, Sept-Dec

Smallmouth Bass Fishing: July-September

• solo kayak or in guide boat
• Morning or Evening approx 5hrs long
• Float, Fly or Spincast techniques
• some Catch and Release, Barbless only sections
• Extended Fall fishing sections for Bass and Trout

Cost: $150 per each - $225 per two - $300 per three

We will also have trips below Brantford Dam and on the Nith River.  The Nith produces smallmouth, pike and walleye.  The Grand below Brantford produces Brown Trout, Steelhead and Smallmouth.

All trips encourage catch-photo-release fishing.

First Steelhead trips begin April 24th and Smallmouth June 26.

All trips include boats, paddling gear and fishing equipment(if needed).

We have excellent overnight and weekend outings for those looking for a short escape.  Backcountry, rural and urban adventures are available.

Spring Trout: 

• Southern Ontario river fishing.  Steelhead and resident trout.

• Backcountry camping and cabins.

Summer/Fall Multi-species:  

• Inland lakes in Central and Northern Ontario(Algoma, Algonquin, Sudbury Region) for Bass,  Brookies, Pike and Walleye. 
• B&B's, camping and cabins. 
• July-September trips.

C-P-F Rates 

Overnight: 

• $200/person, group rates available.

Weekend: 

• min group size of 2 and requires 1-2 months advance booking. 
• Specific trips will be identified closer to Spring. 
• Rates will be determined by group size and location.
