Kayak Fishing tours in the Southern Ontario, Great Lakes region and trips in Central, Near North and Northern Ontario.  As the sport continues to grow in Canada, Southern Ontario is quickly becoming known as a mecca for the activity.  This region of Ontario has historically been known as a great fishery due in large part to the Great Lakes and supporting waterways.  It just makes sense that Nomad Adventures should make it a focal point of our kayak fishing activities.

We offer several varieties of tours including guided, self-guided, group, individual and overnight packages.  Custom tours are available with advance booking.  Some individuals prefer to just tag along and paddle while taking the amazing scenery.

Kayak Fishing friendly Lodges

On Lake Kashagawigamog nestled in the Haliburton Highlands, this is a yakfishers' paradise.  Situated on a chain of five lakes and surrounded by hundreds of glacial kettle lakes, the opportunities abound!  There is bass, muskie and walleye fishing just off the Lodge shore.  It is also home to the 2009 Ontario Kayak Fishing Classic tournament.

There are numerous species from Lake Trout, Splake and other trout varities to LM/SM Bass, Muskie and Walleye in the immediate surrounding areas.

There are several parks and nature reserves with backcountry camping and endless adjoining lakes that make it easy to spend an overnight.

Kashaga Lodge makes for an excellent base camp to explore a beautiful chunk of Ontario and its fishing.

Conact Kashaga or book a custom trip with us.
